Leadhills Collections
Waste and Recycling in Leadhills is managed by South Lanarkshire Council. There are two bin colours, grey for normal waste and blue for recycling waste. Collections are on Thursdays.
Bins are emptied fortnightly but alternate between blue and grey on a weekly basis - one week blue, next week, grey. Calendar of Collections
Bulky items are collected by arrangement on Wednesdays - call (01698) 717777 to arrange collection. This service is normally free. More Info
There are a number of Civic amenities locally, including a small recycling centre for glass and paper etc., adjacent to the School on main Street.
