Leadhills Duck Race
Easter Sunday 23rd March 2008.
The Leadhills Duck race, in support of the Gala, was a resounding success despite fears that the cold weather would dampen spirits.
With an excellent turnout and a party atmosphere, the event raised over £400 towards the Gala.
The boat race was well supported, demonstrating creativity and competitive spirit along with some novel recycling concepts.
